The Rest Assured Properties can arrange and manage all aspects of the cleaning and maintenance of your property, providing quotes for individual items of work if required. Our maintenance plan is designed to take away the worry of routine repairs and remedial work to your property whilst you are in the UK.

Our two-weekly inspections of the exterior and interior of your property will ensure your property remains in good condition.

Changeovers and Cleaning Services

A clean property is a essential for successful renting. Our First Class changeover service includes a thorough clean of your property, logged by the person responsible for the changeover. And all our properties are inspected at random to ensure we are maintaining the high standards of cleanliness we demand. We provide a first class changeover and cleaning service, and we can also supply Maid Service during lets if required.

Your property will be cleaned to a specific set of standards. Each specific task will be logged by the person carrying out that changeover. Your property will be checked at random to ensure that all our standards are being achieved. Your property will be cleaned prior to the letting of the property, as near to the date of the let as possible. Properties that are cleaned immediately after a booking and then left unoccupied for a week or two become dusty - giving a bad impression for incoming guests.

Our changeover service comprises a full clean of your property including kitchen, bathroom, appliances, polishing, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of outside areas, and laundry of bedding and towels. The cleaning charges are built into the rental charge when bookings are made through us.

Maid Service during lets can be arranged at extra cost.

We can provide a Changeover service for owners who opt for a Key holding Service only and who wish to have their properties cleaned prior to guest's arrival. Prices for changeovers vary according to size of property.

Inspections

External and internal inspections.

We will conduct external and internal inspections of your property every two weeks, and perform the following tasks. A log book will be held for your property.


Airing of the property
Inspect the security of the property
Flush toilets, run taps and showers to clean any stagnant water and to eliminate any smell, leaving fresh water in the pipes
Check electrical appliances, air conditioning/heating and light bulbs
Water plants
Check mailbox and remove any mail (forward to home address each month if required)


Maintenance

Whilst we are inspecting your property we may come across a need for maintenance or repair. In such an event, we will notify you immediately, and if you wish we will provide quotes for any work that needs doing (this will incur a small charge). Emergency work may be undertaken immediately, depending on the need, and the costs will be deducted from your Contingency Fund.

Contingency Fund

The Contingency Fund will be a deposit from you of 500 Euros, which will form part of your Property Management Contract with us. This deposit will be used for emergency repairs, and other services which you may require from us from time to time such as airport transfers, welcome packs and changeovers for when you secure your own bookings.

We will hold a detailed account of all withdrawals from the Contingency Fund together with receipts. You will be advised if you need to top up your fund. You may arrange for maintenance work to be carried out by private contractors, and if so you may wish us to handover your keys or provide access for your contractors. For your security, we will require written authorisation for all requests to handover keys, and we will make a small call-out charge.
